« The cabin itself was nice, clean, and in a great location. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a large amount of Asian beetles throughout the cabin. We lost sleep and even woke up to bugs crawling on us, which made it very difficult to relax or fully enjoy the space. I did reach out to the host during/after our stay, and while they were responsive and offered a credit, I still have not received it and it has now been two weeks. « We were so happy with our experience here! We rented this house and another house with the same owners, less than 10 minutes away from each other (both in Wingina). The 2 houses were each about 1/2 hour away from the seminary in Dillwyn…great location. Thank you for sharing your beautiful houses with us! »

« The area and the space were great! We just didn't love the fact that the "neighbors" below us were likely residents of the downstairs space. They were very quiet, but in context of a cottage in the country, it just feels a little off to have someone living in the same dwelling you're renting to get away from it all. Neighbors that are also vacationers would have made it a little less uncomfortable. Not bad experience, but not our preference for the context. »

« Overall, our stay was great! It was exactly what we were looking for location-wise, and we had a fantastic time. All of the amenities worked, but a few had some cosmetic issues. The top of the microwave would fall off when we used it, and the dishwasher is starting to fall due to the way it was installed. Besides these few issues, everything went well! Would stay again. »

« Amazing stay. Immaculately cleaned and well stocked kitchen. Host was a good communicator and there were books available that helped us plan our stay »

« Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was clean. Deck was in great condition. There was a gate on upper deck so our dogs were able to enjoy being outdoors with us on the deck in the evenings. Great look out just up the road at the Blackrock park/viewing point. Communication with owners was prompt and very friendly. »

« Ashley was fantastic. House was exactly what we needed. One thing you may want to advertise is that there a nice pickleball courts just a 5 minute walk away along with a coffee shop. Such convenience but still in a beautiful mountain setting. I wish we had brought our racquets. »
