« This was a great place to stay. Fantastic views of Richmond and the surrounding country side and the same time an easy walk into the centre. Very dog friendly and good dog walks from the doorstep. Bedrooms were big and everything very clean and in good condition. Food really well cooked. »
« A great last minute overnight trip here. The room was lovely, quaint and cosy. We ate dinner in the pub and cannot fault the food. I had lasagne and my husband had gammon. Breakfast was great. Cereal, toast, juice and hot drinks available to help yourself to and then order hot food. I had eggs bennedict and my husband had a full English. Great value for money and would definitely recommend! »

The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. Itâs a stunning setting.
The bedroom is the only shortcoming. Peer facilities might offer visitors pillows of various stiffness to accommodate different sleepersâ...

« The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again. »
