Summer 25

The Lyric was a great place to stay for our family of 14! When we arrived everything was very clean. There was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for dining and hanging out, and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The basement was super fun for the kids in our party with Guitar Hero, shuffle board and board games. The hot tub was also enjoyed by adults and kids! Unfortunately the jukebox was not working while we were there. A couple things to note if you stay here: there is no laundry detergent provided, so bring or buy some if you plan on washing clothes. Plan out your hot water usage (showers, dishes), as the hot water will run out and be very cold for multiple showers.

Great Christmas Getaway

This cabin was awesome! Tucked away in Logan, Ohio. There were 14 of us and it was very accommodating. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas too! Highly recommend 😊

Perfect family vacation

The property is beautiful! I dont think the pictures do it justice. They had lots of highchairs & 2 pack n plays. I was so worried for the steps. But they had a large gate! This is perfect for a large family gathering. We created so many amazing memories in this house! The claw machine stopped taking our money. Which probably saved us hundreds 😅 the only thing was the hot water tank didnt stay as hot as we would like for a large family. We absolutely plan on coming back!! && i packed a bunch of toys for my 1 year old and didnt even get out of the car because they had so many! It truly was a beautiful home!!! Cant wait to come back!

70th birthday hiking Grandma Gatewood Trail

This property is absolutely wonderful. You have thought of everything. The setting is outstanding with its own trails to the pond and Grandpa’s Superhero playground. It’s close to all the hikes and other activities in the Hocking Hills. It rained one day there but there is covered outdoor areas and lots of things to do inside the property as well. We couldn’t have found any better place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my family!

This place is awesome!

We had a wonderful time here! Clean, comfortable and so many amenities! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, and Jukebox and the grandchildren came home with an abundance of stuffed toys from the claw machine, even Amazon and Starbucks giftcards!! They put a lot of money in the machine but they enjoyed the excitement when they were able to get something out. It was like an amusement park in our cabin for them. They also used the Super hero park as a Ninja Warrior obstacle course. They loved it. Everyone wants to go back to the same cabin. Thanks for the memories! Only one suggestion: put some non- slip decals on the floor of the showers, they are very slippery!

Absolutely perfect trip!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! We were there for a relaxing girl's weekend and sometimes it's hard to find something that everyone loves. Every one of us can't wait to come back though! The basement and hot tub were a lot of fun and there was so much space to sit outside and enjoy the woods. It would also be perfect for a family trip and I'm guessing several of us will be back with our kids.

Perfect for families

There was something for everyone at this cabin. The super hero playground was a huge hit with the kids. The hot tub was large and private. The fire pit was close to the cabin. The scavenger hunt was also a fun bonus. Young adults loved the games in the lower level. Wonderful place to have family time.

Simply Amazing

My husband is hard to impress and from the moment we walked in, he pointed out everything that he would do the same if he owned a property. The cabin was so clean and new. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The cabin was VERY well stocked with everything we needed.. towels, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, soap, trash bags, etc. There were even high chairs, boosters and pack n plays for the littlest ones. The hot tub was very clean and nice. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out with two living rooms and lots of outdoor living. The entire family enjoyed the Super Hero Park. One of the kids said it was the best playground they have ever been on. The thing that I was most impressed with was the personalized plaques all around the property. The signs helped you navigate the entire house. There were signs telling you how to work the fireplace and hot tub, which light went to what, explaining books, check out process, Wi-Fi, literally everything was labeled. There was a welcome bag with goodies when we got there. The kids spent hours on the claw machine and the guitar hero. It was the best experience we have had in a cabin. The only minor thing that was inconvenient was that the hot water didn’t last long for showers. We learned quickly on day two to take a quick shower so that everyone could have hot water. Fantastic stay, we are planning on coming back next year!

A perfect family weekend away!

Our family has enjoyed a weekend get-a-way to Hocking Hills every year for the past 7 years. This was our first time staying in this cabin and we all agreed it's the best Hocking Hills cabin we have ever stayed in! There was plenty of room for 11 of us, and the basement was a perfect spot to enjoy music, family games, and some college football. The entire cabin was very clean and modern. The local trails on the property were more than enough for our family hike, and the kids loved the playground! We are planning on returning and would highly recommend this cabin for a great family weekend get-a-way!

Glamping

Quick get away for my husband, sister, brother-in-law and me. Our adult children wouldn't let us use the term camping, because this place is absolutely beautiful. This "cabin" is supplied with almost everything you could think of. I enjoyed sitting on the deck (there are two). Also loved the fire pit area. We only left once in three days to go for a short hike. It rained one day, but we were able to sit out on the deck since it was covered and play a game. This was my husband and my second visit. The first was with 2 other couples.

Great family venue

Absolutely wonderful cabin nestled in the woods. The grandkids from 2 to 10 had the best time playing Guitar Hero, Super Hero playground, and choosing music on the jukebox. So convenient to Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, and so much more. The cabin has everything you need for cooking meals. The owners are very responsive and go above and beyond for their guests. Great for family gatherings! We had 11 in our group. So much room and plenty of beds and privacy for all. We will definitely be back.

Quiet retreat in the woods

Perfect location when visiting the Hocking Hills area. About a 20 minute drive or less to most of the hiking trails. Comfortable bedrooms for the adults and the kids loved the bunk room. We spent quiet evenings at the fire pit or in the hot tub. The kids loved the game room and the zip line at the playground was a big hit. Morning coffee and dinners on the upper deck were relaxing. We all would love to stay here again.

Beautiful home and family friendly

We stayed at the Lyric and the home was beautiful. The set up was ideal for families and children, especially children who love bunk beds! We all enjoyed the game room too. The property was private and the super hero park was a bonus. The only downside to our stay was that the dryer was broken and we only realized it after washing a huge load of laundry that never dried 😕. The owner was very responsive and did bring us additional towels. We would stay at the property again. Thanks!
