« The property was not entirely up to standards. The floor was wavy with a soft spot leading from the living area to the bedroom. Ceilings are low. There was a slight musty smell. I suspect a history of water damage. The couch is very small. The dock was not usable, even though lake was at summer pool. Half of the dock was on shore. « We had a great 1 night stay at this unique property! It had everything we needed and was quite cozy, yet very spacious for our little family of 4. It was a perfect stopping point for our road trip as it’s right off the highway and very close to many restaurants and stores. We enjoyed all the little extra touches such as multiple types of phone chargers on the bedroom nightstand, a stocked coffee station, and a fun little video game console. « Check in time is 4 pm. When we arrived at 4:05pm, the cleaning lady was still there. Well, they missed the mark on cleaning. The refrigerator was filthy inside. The first thing we did was clean the refrigerator. There were spider webs in the downstairs bedroom that had to be removed. When we went to cook breakfast the first morning, several of the dishes we pulled from the cabinets has to be washed. « Southern hospitality at its best! From the snack basket (which was quickly eaten) to the clean and comfortable beds, the entire experience was focused with guests’ comfort in mind. The location of the house is fantastic and it was really easy to get to anything we needed for our stay. The house had all of the basic amenities that you need for a short or prolonged stay.
