After booking and receiving a confirmation, and seeing my reservation, I called hotel two hours later to confirm and was told my reservation was canceled due to overbooking and Expedia was supposed to call me to advise. The staff (Michelle) was condescending. And I was charged for the stay when my reservation was canceled without my knowledge - the only reason my husband and I (with our dog) didn’t drive 90 minutes from home to attend a wedding with plans of staying at this hotel is due to me calling the hotel to confirm. So, we had to turn around, go home, unpack, get our dog situated, and then rush to get ready for the wedding. Extremely disappointing experience. Also, would like a refund to my account as soon as possible, as I did not stay at the hotel.
