« I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though »

« Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again »

« Fantastic option close enough to Acadia/Bar Harbor but much quieter. It’s about a 30 min drive to the visitor’s center and 45 minutes to get further into the park/Bar Harbor, but it’s a straightforward, easy drive. I am a wheelchair user and had trouble finding accessible lodging options near Acadia. I’m so glad I found this cabin!! « We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin with our family (including two toddlers) The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and felt like a home away from home. The views were absolutely stunning, making our morning coffee and evening relaxation extra special. To top it all off, the owner was incredibly nice, communicative, and welcoming throughout our entire stay.
