Overall we enjoyed our short stay. Only two days over the weekend. These are some good qualities about the unit:
* First floor, no need to climb stair with heavy luggage.
* Private
* Comfortable King size, memory foam bed and pillows.
* Stocked with spices and coffee.
* Mid size refrigerator with freezer (no ice maker, only trays)
* Plenty of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner for showers.
* Plenty of parking spaces, a short walk from the unit.
* Very close to downtown Austin and the Palmers center (about 10-15 minutes by car)
Some things to consider:
* the floors needed better cleaning, they were dusty.
* whenever you enter the unit, there is a smell of humidity. (You ofcourse then get used to it when you stay).
* The BLINDS IN THE BEDROOM leave considerable gaps between them allowing a view from the outside to the inside. We covered the gaps with some towels to obtain privacy.
* There are no chairs or stools to sit and eat at the kitchen island. Only option is on the sofa with the coffee table, in front of the TV or standing up.
* No ironing board.
* No washer or dryer in the unit, so make sure to lookup laundromats nearby or ask the owner if there is a laundry room in the complex. (If you have an extended stay).
All of the issues to consider were shared with owner. He seemed genuinely receptive to my feedback and will most likely take care of them. Overall, we were mostly greatly satifsied and would stay again. I just want to be transparent with what to expect.
