Everything was nice and quiet. We had problems with the lock box on getting the key. There was not a porch light on and it was dark. It was so difficult to try and hold your phone to have light and open the box. After 15-20 min. And having to call for help, which they wanted me to walk around the back and use the back door in the dark.We final got it open. The next day was the 4tb. We could hear all the fireworks going off. Then there was the rain. We were about 2 miles from the blue hole where all the flooding was from the Guadalupe River flooding. My Son ventured out to make sure we were not in the path because there was a creek behind the house and the house sits low on the property. It rained like crazy and we kept a watch out. It was hard to sleep that night knowing that creek was back there. Thank God we were safe. Very memorable trip for us.
