Lovely stay in historical home in great location
My family spent 1 night in this lovely, well located and well-stocked historical home. Lovely older neighborhood that felt very safe with very friendly neighbors who happily tell you of the best places nearby. This home is a 2-story with 3 rooms, but take note that one of the rooms doesn’t have a door. It didn’t impact our stay at all since we’re a family. Very easy to gain entrance with a code provided by the owner. She was very nice and quick to respond to any questions or needs. She even let us enter an hour early when the grandkids were exhausted from a day at the park. Back yard patio is nicely shaded with bamboo trees and a small yard. Enough for a nice gathering with friends or friends. The home is located close to Zilker Park and walking distance to a coffee shop and restaurants. Short driving distance to downtown. We walked to Opa for dinner and it was fabulous. Highly recommend if you prefer staying in a quiet neighborhood versus the bustle of downtown, but still super close to the action.
