Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. « Great lodge, location and facilities Cleaning was very disappointing- lodge was not cleaned when we checked in at 4.30pm and standard of cleaning was very poor »

« The Cottage on the Expedia Side ist not the Cottage we found. Also the Hausnumber by Expedia was wrong !!! It was dirty and importmant peaces of equipment were missed. »

« Peaceful location, close enough to everything needed (shop, takeout, chippy, main town 10/15 mins away), large well equipped lodge (no15) & pleasant/helpful staff »

« Area a bit in the middle of nowhere but a lovely quiet area. Owners were on hand whenever you needed them. The accommodation was a proper home from home very comfortable. »

« Beautiful property with lovely views. Was immaculate inside and out. Relaxing holiday, hot tub and bird feeder was a bonus 👍 »

« We had a lovely stay in Daisy. She was spacious and cosy and the hot tub is definitely a bonus. It was lovely and peaceful sitting on the veranda and having a morning coffee or evening wine. We didn’t try the local pub but there is one within walking distance. Really easy to get to (just 15 mins or so off the M5) and a great location for exploring South Devon. In our two days we visited Exmouth, Dartmouth and the beach at Blackpool Sands. The city of Exeter is just 10 mins away, so Daisy is also...

"Hôtel bien situé à quelques minutes du front de mer et du centre ville. Accueil sympathique. Le hall, le bar et la salle du restaurant sont chaleureux. En revanche la chambre est un peu vieillotte et la salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation ! On entend beaucoup de bruits (personnes qui parlent dans les chambres d'à côté, plafond qui craque à chaque pas dans la chambre du dessus, etc). Petit déjeuner simple mais correct. Parking devant l'hôtel ou dans la rue."

"Hôtel utilisé comme étape d’un voyage en Cornouaille. Nous sommes arrivés le soir 5mn avant la fin du service de restauration et ils ont accepté de nous servir gentiment. C’était très appréciable. L’hôtel est très agréable, situé aux abords d’un golf, l’environnement est charmant et apaisant. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. Je recommande !"
