The area is beautiful and very close to the beach.
The hosts have been very friendly. The dining room was also very nice. Concerning the room in which I stayed, I was a bit disappointed, as I paid 40 pounds per night. My room was very small which was not the main challenge, but I had to share the bathroom and the toilet with complete strangers which I didn`t get information before. The furniture in my room was very old and used. The most I missed a sofa or a comfortable arm chair to sit on when not outside in nature or hiking. The carpet was not vacuum cleaned and the bathroom was not cleaned either when I arrived and during my stay of 6 days. But I got each day fresh towels. So If you don`t mind these things, you could chose this guesthouse. For 40 pounds per day I would have expected a bit more comfortable and nicer furnitured room with my own toilet and bathroom.

Sehr nettes Hotel in super Lage
Das Hotel liegt so, dass man sowohl den Strand als auch die Stadt bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Netter Besitzer, gutes Frühstück,fairer Preis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

All was excellent from communication prior to arrival to check out. Charming hosts made me feel welcome. Room was clean and comfortable I was visiting the sights and everywhere was within easy range. A range of food places close by including a wetherspoons with great prices.

Great traditional B&B
I'm not normally one for reviews but this place was great, a proper old school B&B. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had.

Perfect solo trip bolt hole
Peaceful, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous breakfast, perfect room with everything I needed, best nights sleep in a long time, and great value for me. I don't do pictures. But try it out for yourself, it suited my needs, and close to the beach, nice for some barefoot beachwalking🤓

Nice location, nice people, nice breakfast but the bathroom was a real challenge. It was a caravan shower. I’m over 6’ and it was a real problem to use. Not sure if it was the same in all rooms but the one we were allocated severely detracted from our enjoyment of our stay, but all other aspects fine.

Was not happy that I had to use a tool to turn on/off the shower. Peeling wallpaper in room. The owners dog lay down in my room when I came home one evening, I like dogs but not in my room.

Comfortable Stay.
Very Comfortable. All we needed for an enjoyable stay. The room was dated but spotlessly clean and had all the facilities including tea & coffee with biscuits, tv and wi-fi. Bed and en-suite very good. Peter & Julia served a lovely breakfast and made us feel at home. Would recommend for homeliness and comfort.

Good points - owner was lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Bed comfortable and clean. Nice quiet location . Bad points - room was really old and tatty looking and was dirty (family room). En suite is a cabin which you are given a ratchet to turn on the shower. Tiny space - wouldnt do for a larger person. Unfortunately i wouldnt recommend.

Really lovely. A bit 'old-fashioned' but exactly what I wanted. Julia was a wonderful hostess. Breakfasts were great. Really nice atmosphere and all the people were really welcoming and friendly. Lots of very useful tips about the area and where to go, where to eat or shop etc. were all given happily. Would definitely recommend for a place away from it all - and only 2 minutes from the brilliant beach.
