We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated being off the beaten track, but delighted that we were not far from the East Entrance to GNP. The cabin was extremely clean upon arrival, and we had all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi. Our last dinner at Cattle Baron Supper Club was a delicious bonus! Montana is a long way from home ( Maine), but we will certainly recommend this accommodation to friends or family who plan to visit Glacier National Park.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was short but sweet. Great location when exploring Glacier. The cabin had so many thoughtful amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
We stayed at many places during our travels but not one as comfortable & remote as this one. Looking at it from the outside you really canât judge it - the inside is as cute & comfortable as can be with a beautiful view of the mountains & close to the park. Try it, youâll love it!
The Windy Ridge Cabin is a great place to stay. We stayed 3 days/nights. We loved the remoteness and privacy. The place is new, very clean, and the hosts have provided lots of little extras for the enjoyment and pleasure of their guests. The location is super convenient for the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. We recommend this place!
This cabin is even cuter in person than in the photos. Iâm not sure why the listing is for 0-1/2 bath but it has everything you need. The shower, toilet, sink all look new. The kitchenette has microwave, hotplate, toaster and coffee maker. The bed and sofa bed are very comfortable. Itâs a great place to stay to explore the east side of Galcier NPS. Just minutes away from Many Glacier.
Exceeded expectations, very nice cabin with amazing views. Very clean with a comfy bed, and great amenities. Host Christina and Whitey were very accommodating to our needs!
This cabin was amazing! Everything it was advertised and more. Right at the Eastern entrance of Glacier NP and Many Glacier. The amenities are everything youâd need and more for a stay at Glacier.
remote, no people/crowds, no neighbors, but great location to Many Glacier and Waterton Lakes. great cabin, great condition and cleanliness, owner could post better interior pics so you can see great interior of cabin, also wifi was out during our 3 day/night stay and owner didn't contact us to let us know what was going on or what they were doing about it, would stay there again
We loved our night at this little cabin on the east side of the park. The kids slept great on the pull out sofa and we slept great, also. They had every little touch you could need. The only thing that could be improved is more directions to the cabin. We thankfully found someone who took us there as cell phone service was not great. Also, be aware that there is an old mine with equipment right down the hill, but the way the cabin faces makes you feel like youâre on the prairie facing the mountains. The view was beautiful. We will recommend!
This was an extremely special experience. The family who hand built the cabin is amazing, every detail was thought about. And the family has an incredible history (go to the local restaurant to read articles about them.) the listing doesnât do justice to how wonderful this place is.
Location was great, on top of a hill with 360 degree views of the gorgeous mountains. Cabin had everything we needed to have a relaxing and restful night before heading into Glacier National Park the following day. Cabin hosts were very polite and accommodating. Will definitely return when we are in the area again.
This place was awesome! From the beautiful view of GNP to the quaintness of the cabin, this place was perfect! I will say it is not right off the main road as my gps showed. Not a bad thing, but I thought we were lost at first. The cabin is adorable, clean & has all the essentials. It sits up on a ridge that offers an amazing view. It is on a working cattle ranch. We enjoyed watching the cows and being visited by the dogs every morning. Babb is tiny with just a couple restaurants ( we cooked at the cabin - it has a grill) & tiny store. I would suggest getting groceries before getting to Babb. BUT the proximity to Many Glacier is about 10 minutes total, St Mary about 20 and Two Medicine about an hour. The owner was incredibly nice and checked in a few times to see if we needed anything. If youâre looking for somewhere that is private, quiet, off the beating path & not commercialized, we would highly recommend Windy Ridge Cabin. We would definitely stay again!
