Hello GaelleSorry to see that you thought our Riverbed was not warm enough for your stay, our team did go over to help you at night and noticed the heating was working and the lodge was warm, so gave you once of our heaters to add extra heat for you. Our Duty manger went to your lodge after you left and also reported that the heating was on full and the lodge was very warm. I am so sorry this was not up to your standard it was -5 outside during your stay which would have made it feel a lot colder but our lodges are normally nice and toasty for our guest. Our guest normally love the winter months when the sky's are clear and you can see all the stars and even the northern lights Aurora.

Hi Paul,Thank you for your review, we are glad to hear you enjoyed the great views and relaxing sounds of the river. If you would prefer a bit more space, perhaps you might like our Seabed lodges. They are much larger and are full of tech to make your stay that much more amazing! I'm sorry to hear that the check out experience wasn't what you had expected. Our usual check out time is 10am and our late check out time is 11am, and this costs 11.95. The late check out has to be pre-arranged before the day of departure. There are charges for this but as you mention here, we are happy on occasions to discount from the full amount. The lodges are cleaned to a very high standard, so it does take a little longer to get them ready and sparkling for the next guests.We do hope to welcome you again to Woodlands, so please do contact us for your return guest deal!Best wishes,Rebecca

Hi Garry,Thank you for taking the time to write this review and I'm incredibly sorry that you were unhappy with your experience at RiverBeds Luxury Wee Lodges. You're absolutely right to say that there is a difference between RiverBeds 1 - 4 and 5 - 12. RiverBeds 1 - 4 are the newest additions to the Woodlands Estate, meaning the trees and foliage surrounding this area haven't had the same amount of time to mature and spread. They do, however, overlook the river and in many ways, there are a whole host of reasons why our upper lodges are even more fabulous than the lower lodges. The majority of RiverBeds "upper" guests absolutely love the experience because they're more spacious and even have an indoor dining table. In fact, many of our returning guests request to stay in RiverBeds upper lodges.I am, however, very sorry to hear that you feel mislead by our advertising and I will personally see to it that we make this issue more apparent in our advertising going forward.Thank you again for taking the time to provide this review / feedback. Hello ClareSo sorry you never enjoyed our wee riverbed lodges, maybe next time try our bigger Seabeds which have a separate shower and toilet area. Which also has a lounge area and kitchen area. Our breakfast baskets are praised by our guests so sorry it wasn't to your taste, we do cook our pastries every morning. Usually we like to be in the background and leave our guests to enjoy the nature and lodges to themselves but we are always on hand if needed. All the best, Lorna
