Hotel Balvano

« Je mets 5 etoiles pour l'accueil et la gentillesse que Flory a eu à notre égard. Concernant l'établissement, sachant que c'était notre second sejour dans cet hotel, quelque peu déçus par les plats qui nous ont été servis (salade de poulpe tres sèche, et pâtes aux palourdes excrement grasses), et la climatisation dans la chambre faisait un bruit pas possible. Cet hotel est olein de charme, mais je ne pense pas que nous y reviendrons. »

« Bon séjour mais attention l'accès à la piscine est payant, on a mangé à 3 au restaurant de l'hôtel et la facture fut de 55€, du coup on ne sait pas ce qu'on a réellement payé car on a toutes les 3 mangé la même chose... Au de la de ça, ce fut un bon séjour, le lieu est magnifique et l'accueil sympathique!!! »

Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Great museum, which Vittorio allowed us to visit while it was supposedly closed, great...

« Inizio col descrivere l'Hoste: persona gentile e molto disponibile. La struttura: centrale, sulla piazza di Laviano (borghetto piccolissimo e isolato), pulito, nuovo, munito di ogni comfort. E' presente uno spazio comune dove c'è una cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione e poi ci sono le singole stanze, ognuna con bagno privato. Per chi dovesse pernottare in questo paese la consiglio senza dubbio. »

« My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. »
