Home description leaves a few things out.I was pretty disappointed to get an email after we booked and paid that highlighted the need to have 4 wheel drive. Iâve been to this area many times and understand the need. I then looked at the pictures again and realized the driveway was so steep. Even 4 wheel drive will have problems in snow. We did. We left one car at the bottom of the drive and walked up. They were nice enough to have someone come by and plow it; however with a car at the bottom of one side of the driveway and not knowing someone was coming, only half was done. The main roads are well maintained so getting up the mountain isnât an issue but the last 75 ft to the house is. The response will be âwe recommend 4x4 in winterâ, yeah, I get it, just put this in your description for the house before we pay. This is not a universal issue on the mountain. Downstairs carpet has all been removed, cold floors. Pictures show carpet.No TV upstairs in living room. Not a huge deal, I get that youâre in the mountains, however winter sports like football playoffs caused our family to have to decide food or sports. Kind of disappointing on a family trip. Just be aware, we missed this.3rd bedroom is a loft, pictures barely show a corner that overlooks the living room. This was horrible for our kids going to be early.Washing machine & drier in kitchen? Yes.The house is old; little to no upgrades. We spent more time than weâd like trying to figure out how to work stuff.
