We had a lovely stay at the Beech Mountain Townhouse while in town for a wedding. The place was clean and included all amenities listed. Great location, and we happened to be in town for the local Flamingo parade, which went right past the house and was quite charming. Ingrid was very communicative and gave all the information we could need!

House was very clean, nicely decorated, and had all of the necessities. I really appreciated having coffee and laundry detergent. We were not expecting the 90 degree weather, but the two boxes fans and overhead fans in each room made it tolerable. My kids are teenagers and were comfortable leaving the windows open at night, but for parents of little ones, be aware that you will be sleeping on a different level than the kids if you are choosing to leave windows open at night to cool off the house. We absolutely loved exploring Southwest Harbor (you can walk to restaurants and shops from the house) and the quieter side of Acadia. I feel like this area is the best kept secret on the island! Not touristy feeling at all and not crowded. If you are going to Acadia, Ingrid's place is perfect to make as your homebase- especially if you want peace and quiet.

This townhome was perfect for us. It was very clean and I appreciated there was liquid soap, paper towels, coffee, etc. I debated between staying here or in Bar Harbor and we were all happy with Southwest Harbor. Much more relaxed and quieter than Bar Harbor.

Perfect place to stay as it is close to town, but easy to get to the rest of the island from there. Set back off the main road so it's nice and quiet. Unit was built well and is in excellent condition. The only thing detracting from the experience was the use of inexpensive furnishings, a small budget increase in the finishing touches would have made this an 5 star review.

Spacious and clean townhouse. Located in a nice quiet area but not too far from Acadia, Bar Harbor and shopping. Ingrid began communicating with us almost immediately after booking and stayed in contact. She offered detailed directions and so many suggestions for places to visit and tips to make things easier. This was our first visit to Acadia, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We found Southwest Harbor to be quieter and less expensive than the Bar Harbor side of the park. The park was crowded, as predicted for early September, but we were able to find parking even at the most visited sites, and with a little advance planning, we watched the sunrise from atop Cadillac Mountain, took a delightful horse-drawn ride on some carriage roads, lunched at Jordan Pond House, and hiked a few of the easier trails.

This place was perfect for my family of four. My wife and I had our own room as did the boys. They each had their own bed as well. The place was furnished with everything we needed during our trip. The location was fantastic as well as we werenā€™t necessarily interested in being right in the middle of everything in Bar Harbor. The vast majority of trips we made to get where we wanted were under 25 mins so not a big deal. The host gave us a ton of information before we ever set foot in Maine about places to visit, places to eat, and things to do. We would have absolutely no issues staying here again.

Highly recommend! Great location, wonderful home. We wanted to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor, but not be overwhelmed by our fellow tourists. This location was perfect for that. The home was well equipped with everything youā€™d need and well maintained. The host provides great details and instructions (we arrived after dark, and thanks to Ingridā€™s detailed directions we were able to find the home without getting lost).

I stayed at Beech Mtn when we went to Acadia Natl Park. Ingrid was very easy to communicate with and the townhouse had everything that we needed. Home is located about 12 minutes away from the main park entrance and roughly 20 minutes from Bar Harbor. Definitely would stay here again.

The location of this townhouse can't be beat and is very convenient to access Acadia National Park. Due to the location, I would stay here again. I definitely prefer peaceful Southwest Harbor to busy Bar Harbor on the other side of the island. However, with the good, there are a few small annoyances. The walls of the townhouse are very thin and I could easily hear the man in the next unit when he was coughing. Also, I slept upstairs with the door closed and I could still hear other family members snoring downstairs. Sound also echoes on the main level. Despite the sound issues, it was a great townhouse.
