« Clean room, comfy bed and a good shower. Hallways could have done with a quick vac. Missed second day breakfast but still enough left. »

« I stayed for Dave Day, June 26. The hotel could not have been more busy! But the staff had permanent smiles with a very helpful attitude. Inspite of probably being asked the same questions 100 times. Wish there was an extra star for them. A credit to the management. »

« We were allocated a large room on the 3rd floor. There is no lift. We requested a lower floor the room was mor like a bedsit .clean and quiet. .The front of the building is covered in scaffding. If we were in the rooms with hottubs etc different experience.Staff minimal buit helpful.restuarant has always been good. »

« Very good communication. In general the apartment building is clean and nice, though inside the apartment smelled strong curry ( Penthouse ), even a cheap air freshener will make a difference. Pillow cases and Bed blankets do not smell fresh. No shampoo and shower gel. Netflix is a plus. We still enjoyed our stay. »

« The OYO Imperial Hotel was excellent. The staff were always willing to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. »

« A lovely clean and easily accessed hotel. The room had everything I required, a nice comfy bed, tea, coffee and biscuits along with a desk and chair.The bathroom is well spaced out with a wonderful powerful shower . The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I strongly recommend a stay at the King Alfred. »

« Very pleasant hotel with nice staff and all facilities you could expect. The room was perfect, except impossibility to open window for a little fresh air inside the room (air conditioning available though). Parking is big enough to park your car safely next to the hotel. City center and docks are easy to reach by walk (we recommend the docks museum, very interesting and free admission). Huge Tesco and other food corners around the hotel. »

« The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround. »

« I was given a double room instead of a suite, they couldn’t give me the correct room due to it being full and couldn’t refund me due to not having access to the correct system. The coffee machine didn’t work and they only gave a small amount of milk which only lasted one day. »
