Do not rent this property-misleading and host is horrible …
To start off with I had to file an insurance claim for a refund because we could not reach the property due to a hazardous road in our four wheel drive vehicle . Despite the host telling us the road was fine.We even got stuck and a local had to help us get unstuck . I have been coming to Costa Rica for fifteen years and a veteran of the hilly terrain there. Hence,why I asked the host prior to our arrival what type of vehicle that we should rent he said a regular car and we chose a 4x4 for excursions. On arrival we were only able to make it halfway up the first hill on a treacherous curvy road after getting help and realizing that we would have to go up more steep hills, so we made a decision to turn around and rent a room for the night. I contacted the host and made the generous offer of paying for two nights for his troubles and asked for a refund for the rest and he refused and questioned my character. So we filed an insurance claim and never stayed there.
