« We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. Yet, we were only 10 minutes from the heart of Bathurst, which made exploring the local area easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly loved our stay and couldn’t recommend Old Alloway...

« The house was as described. It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet area, just 5 minutes from the city. It suited our needs beautifully - 3 mature couples wanting a reunion and to explore the area. Three bathrooms gave us privacy and the two communal areas were useful. Access was easy with the key lock and we had no need to meet a host. Highly recommend. »

« It's my home-away-from-home when I work in Bathurst. It comes with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked including some things like olive oil, salt/pepper. The heating options maximise cosiness - the underfloor heating in the bathroom is bliiss. Range of TV options is great. It is a drive into town, but that ensure it's quiet and peaceful. I recommend Bant Cottae - but not when I want to stay - haha. Elizabeth »

« What a great property. We were a group of 6 ladies and we wanted a 6 bedroom house so we each had our own room. It is a 6 bedroom house although 1 of the bedrooms was through a sliding door from the house with glass doors being end of may it was freezing and unfortunately we couldn't use that room. So 2 ladies had to stay in 1 room with 2 single beds. We travel together once a year and always rent a house to accommodate all of us and the houses always have the basic food left for us ie tea...

« We were very happy with the location of the house and the layout and the ambience the home was beautifully decorated and all the amenities were perfect and in good working order. We were comfortable and very satisfied with the home. We requested an early check in which was immediately responded to. All in all we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to our family and friends. »

« A fantastic little house very neat and tidy, with all the comforts of home. Owner is very easy to communicate with and the lovley breakie baskets were a big hit with my family and were greatly appreciated! Will definitely use this bnb again if we are up here again. »
