« Lovely stay, everything you needed. Food was great, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only down side is the building is dated and there was no fridge in the room. »

« The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

« Room had no carpeting only cushion floor in black & white pattern which was well worn. Furnishing was uninspiring and well used. Not the most comfortable of beds. Unfortunately in the yard outside of our room was some type of generator which was noisy and was switching on and off overnight. Parking was very limited. Overall very basic. Gentleman who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming and nice courtesy tray in room. »

« From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our stay at the lansdowne was perfect. Comfortable room spotlessly clean with a few nice touches like shampoo shower gel and a well stocked hot drinks tray with biscuits and chocolates. Staff were extremely efficient and attentive. A goid choice at breakfast and all cooked well. Comfortable lounge to sit in and a bar if you wanted a drink. Can't fault this hotel and we will be booking again the next time we visit Llandudno. »

« Our sea view room was clean and spacious. The bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable though. The bathroom was clean. Could do with a couple of armchairs in the room rather than wooden ones but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out and about most of the time. The breakfasts were good with a good choice to suit most people. We've been to the grand now about 8 times now and have honestly never had any real issues. Looking forward to our next visit. »

« Au début on nous avait donné une chambre au sous-sol. C'était très humide, malpropre. Il y avait des sacs à poubelles qui traînaient dans le corridor. Jamais nous n'aurions accepté de dormir là. On nous a donné une autre chambre à l'étage. C'était un peu mieux mais sans plus. Le service était très lent(on devait donner plusieurs fois avant d'avoir une réponse) mais le personnel courtois. Je ne recommande vraiment pas cet hébergement, même pour le prix. »

« Beautiful hotel, electronic check in was easy on arrival, wonderful staff, lovely room, comfy bed and great facilities. Lovely extras on tea tray and glad of a fan in the room as it was very hot weather. Lovely cooked breakfast and a lots of choice for continental & fabulous views from the hotel terrace. Only downside was the room was a bit dusty in places and loo roll holder was a bit loose. Would stay again though. »

« Room was basic but clean and orderly. The beds were a bit hard but good enough for a nights sleep. Lights in the room operated on a timer rather than a switch, not sure why you can’t turn them on and off with a switch to save power, but that seems like a YHA quirk rather than the hostel itself. Staff were friendly and engaging, and facilities were good to make breakfast. There are no towels or soap so make sure to bring basic supplies for as long as your there. overall had a great stay. »

« Had a lovely stay at Llandudno Hostel for a couple of nights!! The location is fantastic, just a couple minutes walk to beaches, the pier, restaurants, grocery stores, and the railway station! I was fortunate enough to have the option to last minute upgrade my room to a private twin bunk room and with the hot weather it was a no brainer! « A friendly welcome although despite checking in online we still had to repeat the process at reception. The parking instructions had changed since we had made the booking only a few days earlier so we had to move the car. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a lovely welcome note which was a nice touch.
