Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include numerous National Trust properties, Launceston Steam Railway, the historic maritime city of Plymouth and the mystical Tintagel Castle. Both coastlines are within reasonable reach of this serene Idle.

Venture up the steps and onto the spacious private raised decked area with beautiful views. Inside this pretty property you will immediately find that the studio-style accommodation opens up into a cosy yet surprisingly spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/sleeping area. This beautifully airy and generously sized space boasts a stable door leading to the outside and stunning countryside views. In the lounge area, a warming wood burner and sofa makes it a perfect venue for relaxing whatever the weather. The compact yet impeccably designed and well-equipped kitchen area offers all the essentials including an electric two ring hob, microwave and also a mini-fridge with an ice compartment. Another great feature of this property is the king-size bed which can be accessed on either side and includes useful built-in storage on either side. Completing the offering inside the property is the spacious shower room with a large shower, WC and complimentary bathrobes, which provides for a comfortable stay in this beautiful rural environment.

Located outside and directly to the front of the hut is a spacious decked area with seating and delightful views. There is a charcoal BBQ and a fire pit provided. This area also boasts panoramic views over the lake to the fields beyond and provides a perfect place to dine alfresco in warm weather. Guests also benefit from access to a shared outside Cedar barrel shaped sauna room (small charge applies direct with owner) There is also the fabulous facility of a shared lakeside summer house with seating, a bar, billiards table, TV and a large decked area with garden furniture and garden games including a 9 hole mini-golf course, Croquet and Boule court. There is ample off-road parking provided on-site.
