« Andy was friendly and helpful, had use of his 4x4 to go down to the cabin. Location was perfect with view of the lake. Unfortunately weather wasn’t good so couldn’t sit out on the lovely balcony as chairs and cushions were soaking wet. Log burner made cabin nice and snug. Cabin is simply equip but ideal. Would definitely stay again . Woods had great walks and use of the summer house is an added bonus especially if you stay in warmer months Everything in the cabin was adequate but a few things...

« Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. »
