« Michelle and Scott were wonderful hosts. So kind and knowledgeable about the area. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the grocery store for snacks and such and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have set plans upon arriving so we took their suggestion to visit Lamanai and it was the perfect recommendation. The Gecko Bungalow grounds are so lovely; well decorated and comfortable. There’s lots of lighting accents everywhere and the pool in the courtyard with the swim...

« Une expérience plutôt mauvaise. Nous sommes arrivés et la boîte à clé était vide, sans clés. Heureusement que la voisine était présente et a pu appeler la propriétaire, pour régler le problème, sinon nous aurions été seuls en pleine nuit au milieu d’un endroit que nous ne connaissions pas, qui plus est avec un bébé. La maison était plutôt sale, avec un éclairage très faible, aucune vitre et seulement des moustiquaires, qui malheureusement étaient pleines de trous. Le wi-fi n’a jamais fonctionné....

« Great property and hosts. Great communication and recommendations before you even set flight. Clean, safe, private property. Full kitchen was a must have for me and was put to use daily. Availability of the bicycles was perfect. We used them everyday. Staff was readily available when needed. Private pool was clean and nice. Had a great time! »

It had all the amenities like quality sheets and beds, stocked kitchen, clean and expensive cabinets. Teak floors and perfect pool to cool off in. « The entire place is so well-designed and nicely lighted at night so the area can be enjoyed well after dark. The pool was sparkling clean and just perfect for relaxing with lounge chairs in the water. Our unit was very comfortable - great air conditioner and fan - and the decor is very cute. The owners are so helpful and friendly and very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. »
