« This is the second year my partner and I have stayed here while attending tge Clunes Book Town Festival, and we utterly love it. The location is quiet and beautiful, the staff a joy to deal with, and the cuisine offered in the restaurant absolutely amazing. « In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer! »

« We loved our winter escape to the Honeysuckle barn. Beautifully decorated barn in beautiful grounds with the loveliest of hosts. Such a great place to relax and re-charge and close to some wonderful restaurants, walks and wineries also. »
