« We had a great time at Riverview Retreat! The house was perfect for our group and offered beautiful views. We especially loved the fireplace and all of the amenities they had available. The hot tub code was missing from the manual so we weren't able to use it on our first night and the spiral staircase was pretty intimidating for the weather we had. Heed the warnings about needing four wheel drive in the winter for the driveway. I was thankful there wasn't snow as it would have been scary to...

« Very convenient location. Fantastic view from the expansive covered porch. Very clean and well appointed inside. We stayed here just before closing on a new house in the area, and the convenience and layout was perfect. If we had been here on leisure, I can see how this cottage would also be perfect for exploring the nearby national park and wine country. Communication with the host was very prompt and helpful. They even went out their way to help me retrieve a small item I left behind. ...

« The hosts were welcoming and the house was perfect for our Turkey Day getaway! Although We did bring some of our own cooking supplies, the house was equipped with enough of the basics to cook everything we needed. We did a tour of the Bellegrove Plantation (a must see) which was only a few miles down the road amongst other stops during our stay. Weather was very windy and cold but the house stayed warm and wasn’t drafty at all. Overall would stay again if we were in the area. Thanks! »

« Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too!
