„Very nice cabin. Secluded which we wanted but not too far from Canon City or Slivercliff. Everything worked; all kitchen appliances, laundry. Even isolated from town, water was good to drink. Best supply of towels and washcloths anywhere we’ve stayed. About anything we might have forgotten was available; condiments, toiletries, coffee, etc. Wifi and tv was perfect. Everything as described. Saw deer about every day close to cabin. We had a great time. “

„As long as you are expecting an older house it is well furnished and comfortable. It fit our needs perfectly and the host was accommodating. The kitchen was not highly stocked and we provided our own coffee filters and bath soap, but furnishings are very nice.“

„A small family group (4 adults) stayed for 2 nights and it was great. Exterior of the property is a work in progress, but interior is freshly remodeled with plenty of space on both the main level and finished basement. The home was very clean and appointed with all the basics needed. Communication was prompt and easy. Would definitely stay again!“

„Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. We came for the fishing and were delighted with the boat parking. We would stay here again.“

„This house is so comfortable! There are 3 rooms that are furnished with comfortable seating. We spent a lot of time in those rooms just visiting. The bedrooms are large and well presented. Another favorite place was the back deck. We loved drinking our coffee there in the mornings. But the magical part was the decorations...the paintings...the staging. Everywhere i looked i saw new things i hadn't noticed before. What a wonderful home! When we come back i will certainly rent this again!“

„Blue Elk is an excellent stay. Vrbo and especially Tracy, the host, were helpful in making reservations and preparation. The site has all the appliances and supplies of home in good working order. The location is breathtaking. We loved the wildlife (although watch out on the road!) and (mostly) quiet, cool weather in late July, but warm blankets too. A great time had by all.“

„This property is absolutely gorgeous. We arrived 2 days before my daughter’s wedding in Rye. The house was clean, beautiful and had all the necessities. The hot tub was a great feature along with the smoker grill, gas fireplace on the back porch, and the fire pit! The property owner was very responsive and the house directions were clear. The distance to Brush Canyon Ranch was perfect. The view of the mountains were amazing. This property is a MUST!!“

The living space and bedrooms were super comfortable. The fenced backyard was really wonderful to have with our dogs - they were able to go outside off leash, and we were able to go right out in the backyard to play ball with them.
