This house was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this home. Very clean, nice layout and the host was very kind! Easy access and kid friendly! The town is small in the best way. We were only a mile walk away from a beach which we visited every evening after a day of hiking. House has air conditioning and all modern amenities but keeps that cozy charm. Loved this house!

Great place for our family for a long weekend. So close to the beach, hiking trails, and an easy drive to Marquette. Loved every minute!

Wendy was an excellent host. I would highly recommend staying here. Left snacks on counter. Let us leave our trucks and trailers after checkout. Was able to come back from ride load side by side up and left. She is absolutely amazing.

We didn’t spend much time in the house really just slept there and showered. Everything was clean. The house was well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. The host left a very nice basket in the kitchen filled with coffee, popcorn, the makings for s’mores and more. The one thing the house could use is Wi-Fi.

This house worked really well for the final leg of a multi-day UP trip. The host did a terrific job ensuring every detail and need was met and thought through ahead of time. We enjoyed Huron Ice Cream down the road and loved the less than 25 minute drive to Little Presque Isle beach. Beautiful, especially at sunset. A bit further south is Sugarloaf, providing some of the best Great Lakes views one could ask for after a rather easy hike. The backyard and fire pit provided a terrific respite from the day with a cold beverage; the enclosed patio a pleasant place to start the day with coffee and continuing the book I couldn’t put down the night before. Great stay, great house, great host, highly recommend!

We often camp in the UP, but having a place to go to get restful sleep after a day of exploring was so nice! This place was wonderful!!! Super clean with everything you could possibly need. Outstanding host! We would definitely stay here again!

Great valued home to stay at. Wendy is a great host and left our group S’mores supplies and snacks. Air-conditioned for great comfort and right in the heart of Big Bay!

Great location for us in our stay. Enjoyed it 100%, Had friends close by and rode around the area. Got to enjoy wildlife and the beach. May have to go back.

Very clean and had everything needed for a great stay. Nice enclosed porch plus a wonderful fire pit area. Only a 30 minute drive to the Superior Dome, but out away from the traffic of Marquette. Deer come into the yard at night and eat off the apple trees. I will definitely stay here again.

Big Bay Getaway

Very clean and has a homey feel to it. Right in the heart of big bay. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Great spot. We will be back for sure!
