« It was very clean! Full fridge, heating/AC was very easy to navigate. They provided soap and a sample of shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t say these were negatives just more annoyances that’s why I still give them 5 stars - the handle for the shower kept slipping off so it was hard to maneuver the hot and cold and turning on and off, the shower liner was rusted and stained and the shower head was built up with timescale so the water pressure was low. The TV remote in bedroom didn’t work, so...

« This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice. I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like? »

« The property was clean and close to all the amenities of Big Bear Lake. The bed was not on a bed frame and the mattress was warned out. It felt like I was sleeping in a canoe. There was no dresser nor closet to put clothes. I had to live out of a suitcase. I will not recommend this place to family nor friends. »

« The house was very beautiful and check in/out was very accommodating. Fireplace and home was clean and had enough pans to cook as well as cups / forks knives and seasonings which was a plus. Just a few things that we had issues with ; ceilings upstairs were sloped where the beds were so my husband kept banging his head. If you’re trying to be quiet upstairs you cannot because the floors creak really bad but that’s common in the cold for hardwood floors. The upstairs had only a tub so in...

Dusty floors, spider-webbed ceilings in bedrooms, leaf-littered property including pool table area. Special mention to the NASTY BBQ grill even AFTER calling for cleaning.
