« so cute and well done with care and love. Neighborhood was so very quite. We had a very peaceful 4 day stay, just what we were looking for. I would have liked more light to read, but did it on front porch and back patio. We stay again on next Big Bear visit. Host is super nice. »

« I came to Kookie Bears Cottage with my dog, hoping for a peaceful writing retreat, and I had just that! The cottage is warm and comfortable, well stocked and well decorated, and the location is great. It's close enough to town to pop out for dinner, yet located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was spotless when I arrived. Overall, I have nothing but rave reviews and would love to stay at this cottage again in the future. »

« First let me get to the cons. Which might i add, arent all that bad. It would just improve on the place. The space heater in the bedroom closest didnt seem to work. The window ac/heater didnt seem to ever go above 60. And the wall heater at the livingroom/kitchen did shut down on us. But that was expected because since the owner told us ahead of time that it may do that. The light bulbs just need to be replaced with something stronger so guest can see better in the evening when cooking. « This little cabin was the perfect size for 7 friends. It was cozy, clean, and close to everything! We walked to Lumberjack Cafe in the mornings. Trista was incredibly communicative and had a fast reply for every question/message I sent. Pro tip - if you want to use the hot tub make sure you raise the temperature a few hours before you intend to use it. We forgot and weren't able to enjoy it with the hours we had left. »
