Hotel Big Lake

« The owners were the nicest people I’ve ever met! The space was clean and welcoming. I enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful views! I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again. »

« Clean room. »

« I read many comments about this hotel and I was expecting worse but it was Ok for the price. »

« The bathroom did not have grab bars in the shower. My husband has balance issues & it was tricky to get in & out of the shower. Also both mornings in the breakfast area the ran out of pancake/waffle batter. It is a favorite for a lot of people. The staff did refill it once we told them. »

« The hotel was modern, comfortable & friendly staff. Easy access to shopping & restaurants »

« The location was convenient and just beyond the twin cities. Overall the room was clean, but it didnt appear to have had the floors vacuumed or cleaned since the previous stay. The phone in the room did not work to make room to room calls. The toilet seat was also loose. I communicated the issues to the front desk person when we checked out and he mentioned the hotel being scheduled for renovations. Breakfast was good and the lady making sure things were replenished was very kind and helpful. »

« It was clean. I had an Amazing time! Thank you »

« building UNDER CONSTRUCTION, Expedia still allowed for the booking, they were only renting out rooms for the construction workers. pets are NOT actually allowed here under the new management, the lobby was a bit of a mess, but again they were under construction »

« Good location. The price was right. »

« The lobby was clean and bright. The phone was disconnected in the room…..” they haven’t worked for a year.” The advertised pool was closed for “daily maintenance “ but on inquiry it had been shut down for one month due to chlorine issues. That was a disappointment. »
