« There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I...

« We had a very nice time even though the location was not quite as convenient to amenities as expected. The only negative was the cottage was cool in the evening and overnight. We mentioned this but owner said there were extra blankets, however we couldn’t see how that helped unless we were in bed. We also did not like the fact that all the furniture was shrouded in covers. »

« Excellent location. Interesting walks from the door. Good views when the mist lifted. Comfortable sitting room. Well stocked with kitchen equipment. Communication when arriving was good. Gillian, who met me, was helpful, friendly and efficient and gave me some good advice about the area. Matresses were a bit basic. Some of the furniture was quite tired and a bit shabbby nb the bedside cabinet/tables. Downstairs bathroom was quite functional - rather barrack room tiles. Overall however a good...
