„From arrival we felt comfortable and welcome. The cottage and surrounds were very special. The owners have put a lot of thought into comfort and enjoyment for their guests. After taking in the initial beauty and serenity of the place we entered to find a bucket of feed with which to feed the goats. It is rightly named the ‘Country Cottage’ from the wood fire inside to the blue wrens and goats outside. We absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. „We stayed in the Monash Cottage as it is pet friendly, this was a major attraction for our stay. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. This site is an interesting piece of living history in a rural setting.“

„Sue is a perfect host! Super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The guesthouse itself is very clean, well maintained, well thougt out. Lacated in Lorne almost next to the Nationalpark we had the great opportunity to spot different parrots, kangoroos and even a koala in front of the door. Stunning!!“

„Loved the relaxed nature of the stay, we really relaxed and the children enjoyed the animals. We took a while to get used to living closely to neighbours but we all respected each other and it wasnt noisy - the frogs sang at night and alpacas wandered up to say Hello. All in all a wonderful short break “

„Stayed here over the long weekend, and loved the house. House was very clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable (and the electric blankets were even left on for us) Hosts contacted us before we arrived to see if we had any questions, and were next door if we needed anything. Lovely bowl of fruit on arrival, and some homemade honey to taste also. Thanks for letting us stay 😊“

„We absolutely loved staying at Peppercorn and wished we could have stayed longer! Our plans had us out for the majority of the second day and we felt we had not given ourselves enough time to explore. The beautiful house and surrounds truly were so peaceful - apart from the birds chatting! Would absolutely recommend to family and friends and will rearrange future trips to get back there again!“

„Moggs Creek is tucked away from the crowds and traffic of Great Ocean Road but you can walk straight into the forest or straight into beautiful beaches. This small cottage was perfect for us and you staring straight into the bush. Our dog was welcome but you do need to be careful about pets wandering around with the forest right there. If you want peace and quiet and you don’t need a new home with all the bells and whistles then like us you’ll enjoy this one.“
