Hello, we are sorry you were not happy with your room. I just checked our records and your carpet was shampooed and 2 days before your arrival and the room was deep cleaned. The bed in your room is luxuriously soft and brand new so it's quite impossible to be more comfortable. If there was something found in your room, it would have been good to let us know immediately, and we would have done our best to accommodate you. Our housekeeping is quite meticulous. Could this have been something that fell out of your bag? We are quite proud of the antiques and gilt framed painting in your room.

You stayed in room 202 which has been restored with beautiful antique furnishings including cherry glass Victorian lamps, elegant antique Frech side tables, a graceful chandelier and velvet and lace drapes and the oldest painting in the hotel which is the beautiful 17th century gilt framed "Circle of Vasser". All of these restorations are current as the entire building is being restored to its prior glory

The mattress in your room is brand new but it is a full size room so maybe this would be too small for two adults causing your discomfort. The room you stayed in is rooms 202 which is nothing less than absolutely stunningly restored with Victorian cherry lamps, French side tables, velvet and lace curtains, antique gilt framed oil paintings and an elegant chandelier. The hotel opened in 1902 which is why the building was restored with stunningly beautiful antiques. Plane modern furniture you can find at box hotels anywhere. Our linens and towels are high end. Thank you for noticing, which is the only part you got right. The room looks and it just like the pictures online.

Hello, thank for taking the time to respond. You stayed in room 201 and the mattress is brand new and luxuriously soft of purpose. This is the way we prefer the new mattresses for ultimate comfort. Some people who are used to hard mattresses will not realize this. As it is brand new, the mattress is not caved in.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to respond. You did visit during an extreme cold snap with snow. We do have heaters in the room. As the hotel was built in 1902 and is a national historic landmark and was built during the horse and buggy days, the parking lot is at most a 3 minute walk to the front desk. Larger hotels with big parking lots or even Wallmart will take longer to reach the door.

The Copper Queen Hotel opened in 1902 during the horse and buggy days. Because of this there is no designated hotel parking but there is a parking lot a 30 second walk away and a second one a 2 minute walk away. You make no mention of your room having the most beautiful and oldest painting in the hotel the 17th century piece 'Circle of Vasser' or the elegant Victorian cherry lamps and antique side tables in your room. We do have heat in the rooms and the entire hotel is beautifully restored. Our restaurant did happen to be closed on the day you arrived which you were informed upon check in, but decided to stay and use the room anyway. Our restaurant will be opening full time very soon and is currently open more than on 'just the weekend'
