Without shadow of a doubt this is a 10/10 rated hidden gem owners are all amazing and friendly people made us feel very welcome and i will 100% be booking again anyone looking for some where to switch off and unplug from the norm then i would suggest paying this wonderful place a visit

Perfectly quaint....
Booked a quick couple of nights away in this perfect, friendly lodge, everything you need has been covered(even down to the ice cubes in the freezer, great little touch👍) great base for walks nearby but only one village pub for socialising, so hop on bus into Woolsingham couple of pubs.....and recommend the club👍👍👍(just ask Emma and Lee the host's 🍻👍) very helpful host's not bothering you but there to help with any problems 👍 100% recommend this perfect little lodge if like us your a lover of the Dales.....

The young lad that showed us in explained the property was very professional and friendly But could have explained more Tv waste tuned in and couldn’t get it to work Decking was told now to go on it as unsafe It was so hot in the property and only one small old fan The property was clean apart from mildew in the shower Jacuzzi was great but so dark walking back to property Bus service is good as not a lot in village

Hello Karl, Thank you for your comments. The lodge is situated at the top of a tiered garden, on the description it does state the lodge is in the boundary of our home and once checked in the entire area is for private use. With regards to the upper decking, this is something that does need replacing, in accordance to this you have 3 other areas to sit and relax. The mildew in the shower on the silicone does need replacing, which now it's quietened down and will be replaced. Once again, thank you for your comments. Kind regards Emma

Fantastic Peaceful Break
If your looking for a nice scenic peaceful break to unwind away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Fantastic value for money and great for recharging the batteries. This is our 2nd stay at this lodge so would definitely recommend and will be going back.

A wonderful getaway
We had a lovely and peaceful Christmas time at the lodge, just as we did two years ago. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the property is clean and well-equipped. I would highly recommend relaxing in the hot tub after enjoying the scenic walking routes in the area :-)

Lovely little get away
Me and my partner stayed here and we loved it! We was greeted by Emma on arrival who was very nice and helpful. She gave us a walk round and explained anything we needed to know. WiFi offered to us. The lodge was absolutely lovely, the photos advertised really do not do it justice. Clean and homely. I seen a few reviews mention lack of privacy because the jacuzzi room is close to the house but we really didn't feel this was an issue at all. It was made very private with blinds all round, 90 minutes a day allowed in the jacuzzi which we thought was more than enough. We was left a welcome pack full of sweet treats which was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay, thankyou.

Gorgeous property & friendly hosts
The pictures to this property do not do it justice at all. On arrival we were greeted by Emma who was so kind, welcoming and knowledgable of the area. The cabin was very clean, cosy and spacious set in our own private decked garden area, with access to jacuzzi room which was phenomenal. The only down side to this visit is we didn’t have enough time to see everything on offer in the area. Will defo be returning again soon to this gorgeous property with Fantastic hosts!!

Lovely and private lodge!
My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary. The hosts were very accommodating and also pointed out some beautiful natural places to visit. We expected it to be just at the end of the garden but when we arrived it was much more, It was elevated above ground level with a nice wooden staircase. It had a private porch area and small garden. Access to the hot tub was fantastic. The lodge itself was well equipt and the owners were happy to provide wood for the fireplace. Will definitely love to stay again.

Peaceful getaway!!
Everything was beautiful! The lodge was very clean, spacious and homely. There was a cute hamper left with treats for us. The area was absolutely beautiful and everyone in the area was very friendly. The jacuzzi was left for us at 38 degrees Celsius which was amazing, (every time we go somewhere with a jacuzzi it’s always left around 25 which is not great). Emma was very welcoming and warm, she showed us around and helped us with extras (where to go on walks, restaurants, nearby waterfalls, Wi-Fi, charger etc). Definitely would return!! Thank you!!

Wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped
Hi my name is fern I’m 25 and I have autism!.. I booked for two nights with my partner. The pictures were a little misleading as I did not expect the hot tub to be attached to the house, it looked like it was attached to the cabin on the photos and I felt really uncomfortable when me and my partner used the hot tub as we could see the hosts in the kitchen as there was two windows facing the hot tub without blackout blinds. when I opened the shower doors I could smell the waste from the drain.. the bed seemed to be quite small to me, now I am not the tallest person in the world but I just say fit into the bed, I was also disappointed by the tv speakers as they were not very good when I was trying to watch a movie it was all crackly and hard to hear what was being said, the garden was very blissful and full of beauty however we did leave after the first night as it just wasn’t for us..nothing against the hosts as they were lovely people and they even left out snacks which was lovely!! I am just being honest about the experience of my stay here.

Me and my partner stayed for the weekend and had a lovely relaxed time. The lodge and grounds where clean and cosy. Access to the hottub until 10pm which was also clean and comfortable. Lee and Emma where very welcoming and available if we needed anything. Overall was a lovely weekend and would return.

Excellent log cabin and hosts were very friendly. We were hoping for a hot tub log cabin,as I had requested by the search engine.The host,Emma had said that we were allowed the use of the hot tub for 90 minutes per day,and it was attached to the house not the log cabin.We did use the first night but felt it wasn't very private as it was attached to the kitchen of the house...this said the log cabin and decking area were excellent

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge - hosts were amazing, Greeted with a smile, saw Emma when leaving and made sure we had a lovely stay. Lodge was clean, well presented and well equipped. We had exclusive use of the hot tub for the duration of our stay & the outside areas of the lodge. Highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely be staying here again.

A must stay place if you like peaceful surroundings- watching wildlife- relaxation and quick and easy access to beautiful countryside. All you could ever need in this gorgeous little hideaway. You would never think you were in somebody’s back garden - you feel so seperate in your own little hideaway. Loved every minute of our stay here and the hot tub availability at the end of some strenuous walking was brilliant. Would definitely recommend and definitely return, if back in this area of the UK again. Emma and Lee perfect hosts - really welcoming. There if you need them but full privacy otherwise. Everything self explanatory and all in good working order so we didn’t need to call on them at all.

Amazing stay.
Dont even know where to start as everything was so good while we stayed at this lodge except weather. It has everything you need starting from pit fire with some provided wood, Bbq, nice kitchen with all utensils you need. A huge jacuzi in private room, even so lodge has timings on jacuzis, but because we arrived very late to check, Emma offered to keep the jacuzi going for us even if it was already pas offered time. Lodge owners even offered to take us nearby waterfall to see - a truly amazing couple. Will definitely come back.

I was looking for a place to stay for our upcoming anniversary and on the list for it was a hot tub! Emma was very welcoming and we settled in just fine. Great overall stay. Nice and clean, only issue was numerous flies in bedroom on arrival, we didn't complain just got rid of them all, just might be an idea to check in future before people arrive. Nice welcome pack on arrival. Emma warm and friendly, great host. Lovely place, andeven though it's in someone's back garden it was private enough with plenty of space. Only other complaint was the bed is quite small, not too bad for me but husband (just over 6 feet) kept getting his foot stuck in the metal rail at the bottom of bed. Hot tub is nice addition. All in all lovely few days away :)
