This completely renovated, authentic A-frame was designed intentionally for couples seeking privacy, comfort, and a true mountain retreat. This is not a chalet marketed as an A-frame. It is the real thing, with dramatic lines, exposed wood, and a layout that feels warm, thoughtful, and immersive from the moment you arrive.

Inside, luxury vinyl plank flooring runs throughout the home, complementing the knotty pine tongue-and-groove walls that give the space a true lodge feel. The furnishings and finishes are cohesive and intentional, blending rustic character with modern comfort.

The kitchen is fully stocked and designed for real use. Butcher block countertops, wood shelving, and a pebble backsplash add texture and warmth. You will find a full suite of appliances including a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, blender, and a large stainless refrigerator. The coffee bar offers drip coffee, K-cups, and espresso, with coffee provided so your mornings start easily.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a comfortable dining area with swivel seating and stools, perfect for slow breakfasts or relaxed dinners. Every detail here is meant to feel usable and inviting, not staged or fragile.

The main living area centers around an electric fireplace that provides both ambiance and heat, paired with a Smart TV for evenings in. Lounge seating, a hanging egg chair, a yoga chair, and a guitar create multiple ways to unwind, whether you are reading, listening to music, or simply enjoying the quiet. The exposed maple support post and solid ash staircase add architectural character, and the open layout keeps everything connected.

On the main level, the king bedroom offers a calm, cozy retreat. Sliding solid barn doors provide privacy, while soft lighting, robes, and thoughtful touches like under-bed lighting and a dedicated vanity area make the space feel comfortable and intentional. The attached bathroom features a curbless, fully tiled rain shower and a lighted mirror, blending modern design with spa-like simplicity.

A full-size washer and dryer are located centrally in the home, allowing guests to pack light or freshen up during longer stays.

Upstairs, the loft serves as a flexible retreat space. A comfortable desk makes it easy to work remotely, while the oversized lounge seating offers a place to relax or stretch out. A massage table is available for couples who want to slow down and enjoy the space together. Accent lighting, an air purifier, and a space heater ensure the loft stays comfortable year-round.

Outside, the experience continues. The backyard is large, private, and fully wooded, offering a true sense of seclusion. A new deck with modern cable railings keeps views open to nature. String lights, a fire pit, and an abundant supply of firewood create an ideal setting for evenings outdoors. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or simply enjoying the quiet under the trees.

Theres a smart lock at the front door. Garage is off limits, used for storage. The shed is not for guest use. The community is not gated, so just GPS the address and pull right up.

Theres plenty of privacy in the back of the house. The front gets a lot of passing cars. When I am here I spend my whole time in the great room and the back yard.

Occupancy

*Designed for two guests.

*If you plan to bring a third guest, please make sure they are on the reservation. Day guests are fine, this is just for the over night guests.

*No unregistered guests or visitors without prior notice.

Quiet & Respect

*Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

*Please respect the wooded surroundings and our neighbors. Sound carries more than you think in the mountains.

*The community has a beautiful lake, please don`t cause any drama, just enjoy the sun and the warm water.

Fireplace & Heating

*Please keep thermostats at a comfortable setting. Setting them lower when leaving.

*Space heaters should be used responsibly and turned off when leaving the house.

*Never leave the fireplace running unattended.

Hot Tub

*Shower before use.

*No glass in or around the hot tub area.

*Keep the cover on when not in use.

If anything seems off just let me know. Its a 110v hot tub so takes a while to warm up if you leave the cover off for too long.

Fire Pit

*Use only the firewood provided.

*Never leave a fire unattended.

*Fully extinguish fires before going inside or to bed.

Pets

*Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval. Please make sure they are listed in your reservation.

*Please use the provided waste bags and clean up after your pet.

*Keep pets off furniture unless covered with your own blanket.

*Do not leave pets unattended inside the home unless crated.

Furniture & Decor

*Please do not move large furniture. The massage table is meant to be moved around. Feel free to move it.

*The decor and furnishings were chosen carefully, and we appreciate your help keeping everything in good shape.

*The guitar is there for enjoyment. Please treat it respectfully.

Smoking

*No smoking or vaping inside the home.

*If smoking outside, you may do so only when 10 feet or more from a door or window. Please make sure your waste is disposed of properly.

Safety

*The staircase to the loft is slightly steep. Please use the railing and take your time.

*Do not lean or sit on cable railings.

Before Checkout

*Wash any used dishes or start the dishwasher.

*Place used towels in the bathroom.

*Return the hot tub cover securely.

*Lock doors and windows when departing. I usually forget the sliders, but the latch should be in the up position when locked.
