« Lovely hotel but door locks do not work. I made sure ( or so I thought) that the door was locked only to wake up in the early hours with the door being wide open. Suggested they get electronic locks instead of keys. For the rest enjoyed my stay »

« I have stayed at City Lodge Bloemfontein before, and each time I have found it to be a pleasant place, very conveniently situated for my purposes. I observed that the room telephones have been removed since my last visit, and now there was no information in my room - instead one is referred to an app. I think that is not a good idea - it is as if they are skimping on extras to save a little money. « It was a great experience, the place is inviting, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, check in was simple, they even phoned ahead to check when to expect us and the breakfast was fresh and well prepared. My only issue was with the bed in our room...it was not very comfortable. »
