« We wanted a nice place to stay to relax, visit and play cards. It was the perfect place. It had plenty of room and a huge wrap around porch with rockers and a swing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch while it rained. If you want a cabin in the woods and enjoy the quiet countryside definitely rent this place. »

« Bearclaw was perfect. A great spot to relax and connect with nature. It's so much do and explore. It has everything that you need. We enjoyed our stay. Jim was the perfect host. He kept us informed and responds promptly. The property is located in the country, but Walmart and other stores are 7 miles away. »

« If you like being by the water, this is it. It is nice for a small family or a couple.The place is tight but that is expected for a 2Br 1 bath.This is the bottom unit. There is an upstairs unit so be ready for people walking upstairs.Things to be ready for:1. Make sure you ask for the hard key. Their electronic lock did not work for us. The battery died. 2. Communication with the host was OK. It was unfortunate for us the host was on vaca so the communication was not the best but we did resolved...

« This was the cutest pet friendly cabin. It was so peaceful with a beautiful view overlooking the town and the lake. Also plenty of parking for my car and my husband’s big truck. »

« The cabin was very nice and super clean. We had everything we needed and felt very much at home. We were about 20-25 minutes from the Sand Mountain Park where our granddaughter was playing in the 10U softball world Series. Her team won the Championship!! Yay!!! The cabin was perfect after a day in that Alabama Heat and Humidity (although we are certainly used to it since we live in central Alabama). We plan to come back sometime in the fall.
