The Space:

Whether you want a mountain lodge for your next ski vacation or to stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains at any time of year, Colonel Weber's Lodge is the perfect getaway for up to twelve guests! Bring the whole family, from seniors to infants! And, don't forget your canine pals! Colonel Webers is outfitted with many accessibility and comfort features for the whole family!  Brand new hot tub 2025!



This comfortable, spacious, older-style ski mountain lodge is located just steps from the entrance to the Appalachian Ski Mountain ski area, convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone.  You will never run out of things to do, whether hiking, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, shopping, dining, or enjoying the amenities at home, including the hot tub,  firepit, sauna, pool table, darts, WiFi, washer/dryer, and a television in every room!    Colonel Weber's main level is handicap accessible from bedroom to bath, with many built-in features, a power lift chair/recliner, and additional high-quality ramps and accessories that can be put in place before your arrival or removed if not needed!



The spacious living/dining area will immediately transport you to the mountains with leather furniture, a large stone woodburning fireplace, an antler chandelier, traditional mountain decor, rich wood paneling and floors, and plenty of space for your friends and family to gather.  A large sliding glass door leads to a deck with patio furniture for outdoor dining or enjoying an evening cocktail or morning coffee. The charcoal grill is large enough to cook steaks for your whole family.



The kitchen, just off of and open to the living/dining area, is well organized, clean, and fully stocked with glassware, dishes, cookware, utensils, and stainless appliances. There is a place for everything and you will love cooking up a holiday meal in this well-equipped kitchen.



The main level King Master Bedroom and hallway bath are wheelchair accessible with widened doorways and full, obstacle-free access to the bath, kitchen, dining, and living areas. The King bedroom has dressers, nightstands, quality bedding, closets, and all the comforts of home. This lovely master with a view of the mountains has a private deck with patio furniture. The hallway bath has a roll-in shower with fold-down cedar bench, grab bars, and accessible-height toilet and sink, towel bars, and a mirror.  You can expect hotel-quality linens and soft and fluffy towels too!  Also on the main level, next to the master, there is a bunk room with a double lower bed and twin upper bed, TV, windows, and dresser. The bunk room also shares the hallway bath.



There is a second Master Bedroom downstairs with a King bed and a single sofa sleeper, dresser, bedside tables, upholstered chair, and closet. This bedroom has a beautiful view of the mountains and its own deck, also with the mountain view. There is also a bedroom with two queens, similarly outfitted for your comfort. These bedrooms share a hallway bath.  Finally, there is another King bedroom downstairs, with an electric fireplace, huge TV and private bath.



From downstairs you can access the large yard, firepit with log seating, picnic table, lawn chairs, and hot tub.  Also downstairs is an infrared sauna, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, a linen closet, and a closet with yard games like corn hole and horseshoes!



The driveway includes outlets for an RV or to charge an electric car.



You will love the memories that you make with your friends and family at Colonel Weber's Lodge, skiing, soaking in the hot tub, or sitting around the fireplace, telling stories, and enjoying the mountain air and night sky.



Pet Rules: 

Pets allowed with approval - a maximum of 3 dogs. There are no weight requirements.

Your dog(s) must be fully housetrained and current on vaccinations and Flea & Tick preventative; cannot be left loose or unattended at any time; must be crated if you leave them home alone, crate(s) not supplied; pets are not allowed on the furniture and you must clean up any hair in the home upon your departure; Please make sure to clean up the yard after your dogs; if there is a hot tub, dogs are not allowed in it. There is a non refundable and taxable pet fee per dog.

Guests will have access to the entire property, except for owner closets/storage areas.



The Neighborhood:

Colonel Weber`s Lodge is located on Appalachian Ski Mountain just steps from the Ski Area gate.



Getting Around:

No public transportation is available.
