We arrived at Pine View for our 5 night stay. Well, I found this place. I wasn’t too sure what to expect. It looked more like a house than a cottage, and it was a house. But that worked out well.
The backyard reminded me of my childhood home, down to the pine trees lining the backyard and the statue in the garden that was the same as home. A very nice deck with a fire table, late afternoon shade, a welcome after a great day at the beach.
The neighborhood was very quiet. An added bonus. The inside was SPOTLESS, spacious, and very well equipped including an ice maker.
Our dog Lily walked onto the deck and immediately saw “Lily’s chair”, the same lounge chair she jumps up on our deck. We all enjoyed the local critters (Lily included) and managed to get lots of pictures of the white squirrel, and the grey and white cat that Lily desperately wanted to meet. The close proximity to the beach (dogs allowed), it was very short walk and made multiple daily visits easy. The dog treats, local coffee grounds and popcorn were a nice added touch.
I would recommend you try this place out. Close to Bayfield, Grand Bend and Goderich, easy day excursions to all!
