  • Welcome to the tranquil banks of the Blackfoot River, immortalized by Norman Maclean as 'cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.' Experience the allure of this legendary watershed with just one glance.

    Nestled along this picturesque riverfront, our charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath Blackfoot River Cabin awaits. Imbued with a cozy ambiance and adorned with treasures from our owners' global travels, this retreat offers a comfortable haven for your stay.

    Savor captivating views of the Blackfoot River from the open living-dining-kitchen area, where plush leather furnishings and a wood stove create an inviting atmosphere. Each of the two bedrooms, situated in opposite corners of the cabin, features a queen bed for restful nights. The bathroom boasts river rock tile accents, and a washer and dryer are provided for added convenience. Entertainment options include WiFi, a smart TV, and a selection of movies, although the allure of the outdoors may beckon you away.

    Step onto the deck and be serenaded by the soothing sounds of the Blackfoot River. A short stroll along a pathway leads to the quaint guest cabin, offering its own charming retreat with riverfront views and a comfortable bedroom.

    Indulge in evenings gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and relishing in the ambiance of over 275 feet of Blackfoot River waterfront. Tucked away at the end of a quiet dirt road, this idyllic setting offers privacy and seclusion with few neighbors nearby.

Pearl Jam and Flyfishing

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this home. We came to the area to see Pearl Jam and close out our summer with some family time in nature. Thai home was the perfect place to make beautiful memories!

Excellent stay

Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect place for us to explore a new part of Montana, as well as just relaxing out on the deck or floating the river. If we are ever back in the area we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Unique property right on the river. Great layout and escape from the usual fare. Hosts are great, clean, would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spot

This is a lovely location, and the property managers were very quick to respond to any questions. We couldn’t use the little cabin because none of our kids felt comfortable sleeping away from the rest of the family. Star gazing is wonderful at this location.

Heaven on the banks of the Blackfoot

This property is better then the pictures indicate. My family was comfortable and loved the space. The kitchen is well stocked. The bench overlooking the river was never empty. Thank You!

Beautiful place with cleanliness issue

The property is beautiful and the location is stellar. The fishing on the river in front of the cabin was excellent, the location was very quiet and a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. There were some issues with cleanliness that brought the property down from a higher review. There was a cracked egg shell beside the fridge under the cabinets, the dishwasher was full of dishes, some of which did not look clean so we washed it when we arrived, and there was some grit on one of the countertops. The bed in the main room seemed more like a full than a queen and the mattress is very saggy towards the middle. Despite these issues, we still had a good time and may opt to go back to the property in the future.

Great Upper Blackfoot Area

I really enjoyed the house and the property. Was a perfect location for fly fishing floats on the blackfoot. Everything in the house was in good shape and comfortable. Made cooking and relaxation easy. Great deck for sitting on.

This is a marvelous property. Wild life, including a Doe with a born the night before fawn. The river is beautiful. In all a most relaxing destination. Had the been availability we would have stayed longer.

So nice that I am hesitant to let others know about this gem.

Wow, this property blew us away! The home is so much larger than we imagined, and we liked being able to spread out and relax. We did not use the extra cabin with bed because we did not want to have our children separated from us at night, but it was fun to imagine a different time when we might have another group with us who could use the separate space too. We absolutely loved being able to access the river and walk along the trail near the high water mark. The stars were glorious, and I didn’t imagine I’d be able to see comet Neowise with the naked eye, but the dark surroundings made it too easy. I suspect we will attempt to stay here again on a future trip to this area.

This property is so unique and special. The Blackfoot River holds a special place in my heart, so to be able to find a place right on the river was just incredible and a rare find. We had a great weekend and had everything we needed.

Fun in the Sun

I did not want this vacation to end. So relaxing watching the river. We saw so many birds. Eagles, Osprey and right over us a Golden Eagle. Every afternoon we took a walk along the river then came back for a nap under the trees on a chaise lounge. Doesn’t get any better. Next year will be longer. The house was so clean it sparkled. My husband even noticed!

Cabin by the Blackfoot River

Lovely cabin, right on the river. Easy to find, but secluded and private. Well furnished. Good fishing and wildlife spotting, nice walking path along the river. Appreciated the maps, pamphlets, and other information about the area. Enjoyed our stay very much. A few suggestions: the kitchen should have been cleaner - the floor was sticky and the drawers disorganized with crumbs and crud in the back and corners. Also, only a few mismatched toiletries in the bathroom, no bar soap just a half-empty container of liquid soap. Plenty of nice towels though and the beds were great. Overall pretty good.

The property is in a great location and well maintained. The cabin is much larger than the images communicate. The only problem is that the network name for the router did not show up so the internet did not work.
