« We are repeat visitors to the cottage and have always found it comfortable and convenient. We encountered a few minor but annoying problems this trip, which we brought to the attention of Flying Squirrel. « Stay was peaceful. Front door could use blinds or curtains it was a little creepy at night. Hot tub had leaves and such it could have been cleaner. And firepit outside was not functional, out of propane or something and we didnt feel like dealing with it to ask about fixing it we just didnt spend as much time outdoors as we would have had it worked. Bed frame also moved a lot on the hardwoods very creaky. Needs a rug under it or more heavy frame. Overall good experience. »

« The house is in a beautiful serene setting. It is such a peaceful place tucked away in the woods with the amazing mountain views we were looking for. It is located close to Blowing Rock and Boone. The host is very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and I loved the heated light bulbs and hot water. I would definitely come back! It snowed one day too! Thank you! »
