Mom’s 80th Birthday Trip

Awesome Stay
Had a great stay with family and friends! Definitely recommend, we had plenty of space for everyone and the location is perfect for getting to Breck Ski Resort early in the morning. Other than a gnarley snow storm that cause a power outage for a few hours, the host was very communicative and readily available for questionz. I recommend staying here for anyone and will return in the future!

We had our kids and two grandkids visiting for Christmas. Plenty of room for everyone and the location is just the right distance from the crowds at Breck! Brief problem with fireplace was quickly remedied!

Great Place to Stay in Breckenridge
We enjoyed the Lakeshore cabin for our trip to Breckenridge very much! It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood that was an easy and quick drive to ski or visit the Main Street area. We appreciated having plenty of space to spread out as a family and enjoyed the hot tub very much after great skiing days! The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

Great stay
We had a great time staying with our family of 8. Plenty of room for everyone. It was great to have access to a 3 car garage. Kitchen was huge and had ample pots and pans…our only critique was the kitchen knives were a bit lacking and the floor in front of the fridge was very squeaky. It was a quick and easy drive to the slopes. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend.

Great mountain home for a large group
This beautiful and spacious house worked worked great for our group of 3 families. The kitchen and living room are huge, plus there is a private game room and parlor that can be used for hanging out or extra sleeping space. The hot tub and deck are also delightful.

Everything you could ask for
We had a wonderful stay. More than enough room for our group of 8 (we had planned on 10). We called ahead to check if the kitchen had certain items and were told if we arrived and needed anything else, they were happy to bring them over. Great living room for spending time. Hot tub is right off the house so you don’t freeze getting in/out. Cute neighborhood/hikes nearby if you want to get out for some fresh air. Will definitely be returning.

The location was great for the activities that we had booked during our stay. The size of the house was spacious for our group of 12, and check in/out was easy. The carpet was very dirty and sink was clogged in bedroom bath. No blankets for pull out couch.

Big master bedroom with king bed, fireplace plus large bathroom and walk-in closet. Two living room areas each with tv’s. Game room. Jacuzzi dry off room. Two dining tables totaling 18 chairs. Four barstools. Property manager responded quickly to questions and concerns. Only negatives were old carpet and tv channels. (No abc, cbs, nbc, ESPN live, fox, Fox News).

Perfect
The house was perfect for our family! It was close to hiking and everything we wanted to do. There was plenty of space for everyone and the big, open kitchen worked well for us. The cabinets were well stocked with dishes. The hot tub felt nice after a day of hiking and activities. Would definitely rent again. The flooring was outdated and in rough shape but that didn’t bother us since it was clean.

Great location, large house with fully equipped kitchen and working fireplaces. Great outdoor space to hangout and go in hot tub. Only thing we’re that the comforters and blankets for the pull out coaches didn’t seem to be cleaned they had stains on them that could’ve been washed off.

My friends and I enjoyed this property very much. It had plenty of room for us and more. We loved the hot tub, spacious kitchen, and massive dinner table that could accommodate us. We even had the pleasure of meeting a kind local neighbor who helped us when one of our vehicles got stuck. Fantastic experience overall!

Beautiful and Relaxing Mountain Home
Our family of 8 adults and 4 children had outgrown our condo in town, so for our traditional 4th of July week we rented this lovely home. It was large enough with an ideal layout to accommodate all of us nicely. The kitchen was adequately furnished for large meals, and we could all sit at the table together. Fireplaces and large TVs provided a place for entertainment and sports channels while the kids had room for games and play. There were shelves of books and games provided. We enjoyed outside time going for walks, in the hot tub, and around the fire pit. The house is a little older and not perfect but totally acceptable for a mountain vacation. The staff at Summit property management was easy to work with; check-in and out was simple. Breckenridge is a great place for skiing and our favorite for summer vacations!!

Absolutely On Point Listing Details
A group of friends and I enjoyed a 3-night stay at this property in March 2021, while enjoying the slopes at Breckenridge and Vale. The listing is perfectly advertised. Cabin is huge, and party size only truly limited by the bed spots. There's a second living room and game room that's easily converted into bedrooms with couch pull-outs. Hot tub is a nice add. My only feedback would be the water pressure - in two of our restrooms the sinks were borderline unusable because water flow was weak. In addition, I would have preferred if check-in could've been done contact-less.

Nice house, lots of maintenance issues
We enjoyed our stay, yes! The house was beautiful & had everything we needed. However, when we arrived the first night the kitchen sink wouldn’t work. After a closer look, it was clear the pipes were nearly frozen. The mat on the pull out bed was destroyed; we wouldn’t let anyone sleep on it since it was so torn up. The hot tub never made it over 95-96 degrees, which is pretty chilly, especially when we were reassured it was working properly. One of the dining chairs completely broke as soon as someone sat down on it, & you could also tell this had been broken once before but never properly fixed. The handle on the microwave also broke off the first time we used it. While we loved our stay & the house, it’s clear this is treated as just another rental & not maintained well. When we first pulled into the garage, there was an old, half-eaten pizza on the garage floor.. nice “welcome home” touch. We’ve stayed in many VRBO, AirBnb’s & I don’t know that we’ve ever had this many maintenance issues.

Generally pleasant, but TOO MANY maintenance and housekeeping issues
We are Summit County locals who rented this property for 3 nights for our elopement. Although our stay was generally pleasant, there were a number of maintenance and housekeeping issues we discovered over our stay that were terribly disappointing. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that only the larger of the 2 garage doors was in working order- the smaller garage door chain was completely off the track making it unusable. The downstairs carpet was covered in stains- we took photos to document that we had not caused this damage. At the time of booking, the VRBO post listed a hot tub as an amenity, and we chose this property over another because of this addition; however, upon arrival, we found that not only was the hot tub not in functioning order as advertised, but the exterior doors to enclose the hot tub from the backyard were not even installed, completely exposing this section to the outdoors. This created a cold draft at night so we had to lay down a blanket along the inside of the door. This door also did not lock properly, making the home insecure as the door lead directly outside. The kitchen floor was covered in dirt and food. The back deck was also littered with garbage, food, and cigarette butts. There were absolutely no cleaners anywhere in the house, not even a simple disinfectant spray. This made cleaning up challenging, especially with the current COVID pandemic. The toilet in the upstairs shared bathroom leaked everywhere upon flushing. The window crank in one of the upstairs bedrooms was broken and the screen was lying on the floor. The towel rack in the upstairs ensuite was loose on the wall, so we did not use it to avoid further damage. The VRBO listing stated there were plenty of extra towels and linens, however this was not the case- there were tons of extra pillows but very few towels and no additional linens. We had a guest on the pullout couch downstairs but had to makeshift bed coverings out of random blankets. We contacted Summit Rentals during our stay regarding these issues but were asked to forward a list to them via email- they did not want to discuss the list over the phone. After a few email exchanges over the course of 2 weeks, we were offered sincere apologies, a partial refund of the cleaning fee, and (1) night stay. We would not recommend renting this unit until these issues have been completely addressed, and will not be renting from this company again.

AMAZING WEEKEND
The House was the perfect size, and had all the accommodations needed. The distance to downtown was not too far at all. The only downfall was the fireplace in the living room would not work. Overall, it was a great stay.

This property was out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to enjoy the city when we wanted to. The house was big enough to sleep our group of 13 comfortably. Even tho the back of the house faced the highway, it was high enough not to be bothered too much by the noise. The carpets needed cleaning, otherwise everything else was very clean.

Older out dated home. On the night of arrival we went to turn on the gas firepit. There were three propane tanks and all were empty. Mouse droppings were found around cooking pans in the kitchen cabinets. Upon using the gas grill it co constantly flared up. Upon removing the drip trays there was about 10 pounds of food drippings in the grill. Spoke with rental management after leaving, seemed very unconcerned. Will not stay with Summit Rentals again. Crannell family reunion 2019
The house was perfect for our family of 12 people. Everyone had their own space and the large game room was perfect for the traditional family gestures games. But Frankie’s acting of wheelchair in Geustures looked more like Magic Mike’s strip routine. Location was perfect with multiple hiking trails right next to the house. Loved it and hope to return soon.

Perfect property for our group
This property was a perfect fit for our group. The large open rooms were great for entertaining everyone and . The hot tub was a great way to end each day of skiing, but half of the jets did not work. There were just enough beds for 10 of us even though it says it can fit 15 people, some people had to double up, and the pull out sofas were not very comfortable, but everyone did have a place to sleep. All in all, the house was in the perfect location and just the right size for us.
