« Good hotel, bed are confortable. Restaurant for the diner is good too. The breakfast needs to be improved. I should be able to select what I would like to eat & toast my breads myself. I lost 2 times more than 10 min in the morning to order & get what I want »

« We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at The Royal Oak. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a lovely view from our room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. This is a traditional pub, very cosy and again nicely decorated but retaining its traditional charm. The landlord and landlady were extremely helpful. Above all, this is dog friendly accommodation, a must for us. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away. »

« Great open plan living/social space downstairs however upstairs whilst spacious presented its challenges. Too much light in master bedroom during the night from bathroom windows/skylight. Had to turn on the bathroom light when going to the loo waking partner! Separate lights perhaps? Bath towels very small and we are average height /build. A memory foam mattress is not to our liking and the duvet was quite heavy for this time of year. Very well equipped kitchen and social /entertainment...
