« This was my second time to Penrhos and this is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to stay. The level of finish in the accommodation is exceptional and the attention to detail such as board games, items in the kitchen and basic supplies such as milk and butter are lovely touches. « Absolutely faultless. We went as a group of friends to spend a long weekend away and we couldn't have stayed in a more perfect and serene lodge. We were fully equipped with everything we needed. Charlie, the host, paid us a visit to introduce herself on the Saturday and was really friendly. The hot tub was the absolute highlight. « Great secure location for dogs, Peaceful in the evenings. Took two Huskies who like to be the leaders of other dogs and they got on well with their dogs too. Ragland Castle is worth a visit. Chepstow castle was a bit disappointing, rude reception women and half of it was closed for repairs with no mention by the reception women. »

« Great open plan living/social space downstairs however upstairs whilst spacious presented its challenges. Too much light in master bedroom during the night from bathroom windows/skylight. Had to turn on the bathroom light when going to the loo waking partner! Separate lights perhaps? Bath towels very small and we are average height /build. A memory foam mattress is not to our liking and the duvet was quite heavy for this time of year. Very well equipped kitchen and social /entertainment...
