« My boyfriend and I took this trip to get some nature time in away from the city. The experience was better than I could have imagined; there were so many little touches to the property and it was also minimal at the same time. I loved that there wasn’t a tv or wifi. Truly immersed in nature and we enjoyed the trails and sitting by the fire at night. 10/10 recommend. »

« We wanted to get away for a last minute weekend before school started up again. This was a great little place for my wife and two kids age 8 and 6. We have never spent time in Smithville but we are so glad we did. We will be back not only to Smithville but to this little cottage. »

« House was very cute & cozy. We all had our own room. House was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. It was next to the railroad tracks but it wasn't loud and it didn't effect our stay. Grocery store was right around the corner and very close to downtown shops. We would stay at this property again. »

We were coming to town for a wedding and I was tasked with providing lunch for the wedding party Our host was so accommodating by letting me use coolers and making sure the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils I needed. « This place is awesome. Its vintage, if you want modern you will be dissappointed. The Bedrooms are tight, the bathroom is older, the floors creak, but its just as advertised. The Setting is the middle of a pasture, it is great! The view from the porch may inspire you to want to retire there. The owner is available and helpful. Its clean. Very unique Would Stay again »
