This is a lovely property, perfect for a long weekend or a week of vacation.The Good:•The house was very clean•Kitchen is very well-appointed with pans, cutlery, and cooking utensils. We had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house•Dishwasher tabs were provided, although it was unclear if these were left by previous tenant•Beds are comfortable, linens are provided•TVs with streaming services available in all bedrooms and the living room•WiFi is good•Hot tub is delightful, towels are provided•Backyard is a great size with a lovely sitting area around a fire pit and a deck•The wash machine and dryer are great in a huge mud room with hooks and cubbies for coats and shoes, etc. Laundry detergent was provided•Communication about the property, check-in and check-out is greatThe not so good:•While the house looks great, the finish work is not the greatest•Closet door in one bedroom was completely off the track and made the closet unusable•Broken window in the garage door (although this does not affect your stay at all), purely an aesthetic thingWe were a party of 5 there for 5 days and we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. If you have a dog, the Brewster dog park (which is a short drive from the house) is hands down THE best dog park we have ever been to.Fun things to do in the area include The Edward Gorey Museum, drive to Ptown, a visit to Chatham (or any other cute Cape Cod town for a stroll around.) And there is always the beach.
