« Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year »

« We stayed at the cabin July 9-12, 2025. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not cook any meals during our stay but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped if meals were prepared with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. It was nice that we were able to bring our fur babies with us on this trip! The morning of our departure we saw two deer in the back yard! »

« We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning! »

« One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family.
