« Bien placé pour visiter Torquay à pied , le parking et la piscine »

« The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!! We were warmly welcomed, and the information Steve shared about local restaurants helped us to find some delicious seafood even on a bank holiday weekend!! Wendy’s delicious homemade cake was a lovely addition to a relaxing cuppa in the garden on our arrival, and the breakfast menu covers all tastes, including...

« Excellent accueil. »

« Booked for 3 nights after reading the excellent reviews. Big mistake. Were greeted with ‘name?’ ‘Room 2, first floor’. The first thing we noticed was the filthy, stained carpet. Then on closer inspection the net curtains were rotten, dead flies and believe it or not feathers on the window sill. The bedding was very old and past its best. The shower had soap scum in the tray and hadn’t been cleaned and there was black mould at the bottom of the shower screen. The bathroom door was covered in...

« The owners were so welcoming and excited to meet me. Loved the old fashioned keys for room entry and the amazingly delicious breakfast prior to my departure. They literally kept an eye on my car during the night. Would 💯% recommend this quaint B&B. »

« Une petite chambre propre dans une maison familiale typiquement british où l’accueil est personnalisé et excellent tout comme le petit-déjeuner servi dans une jolie salle commune. »

« Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...

« implication forte des propriétaires, parfois un peu trop. »

« The property doesn't have its own parking. There is free parking available on the street parallel to the entrance but this wasn't clear from the description. I appreciated the keyless nature of the accommodation. The gate lock can be a bit tricky to open. The room was clean and the bathroom was fantastic. They provide some food in the small lounge but I couldn't see anything gluten free. »

« seul point négatif: chambre single aussi chère que ch. double! resto-pub voisin "Abbey Inn" au bord de la rivière Dart:bcq trop cuit et service très lent »
