« This is a lovely cottage and very cosy and warm. It's also near lots of attractions. It was very nice to be able to take my friend's dog who seemed to enjoy herself too. The main door was quite hard to lock and unlock as it's stiff but I broke my right wrist in August so that probably didn't help matters. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to others and I would certainly revisit myself. »

Moat house pub serving good food within a few minutes walk was a definite bonus. Nice location for visiting Stratford upon Avon and lots of attractions around the area. « A top range property which had had a lot of thought put in to it but the while the under floor heating could be turned down it could not be put completely off and we were far to hot on occasion. It did feel a little impersonal and not to welcoming as the key was in the property and we had no contact at all with the owner or family »

(The name of the house is actually The Heath not Gatekeepers cottage and is situated on the left as you drive in. This needs changing to avoid confusion.) « Great house, with everything you could need each bedroom has en suite. Kitchen is very well equipped, we had private chef to cook meal for us and although kitchen was small he managed a 3 course meal for 10 of us!Great little pub 5 mins walk away.Our only problem was no hot water and heating this morning, but someone came to sort for us.Would definitely recommend. »

« The house is good but unfortunately for our stay there was only 3 mugs (6 people staying) . One room spelt of smoke and another of wee. One bed creaked every time you moved. The towels hadnt been aired properly so they also smelt musty. The overall cleanliness just wasn't there for our stay otherwise it would have been really good. These things can be easily sorted for the next stay. The neighbour bought mugs so that's one thing sorted. Thanks »
