The breathtaking view from Tomâs Cabin makes the stay worth having. This cabin is definitely more on the primitive side. The two bedrooms are split only by a partial wall and the beds are a little too big for the rooms. This is a cabin in the woods, but it did seem like the cabin wasnât cleaned the same day as our check in because there were dead bugs on the floors, on the stove, and in a lot of the provided drink ware and cobwebs on the ceiling upon arrival.
We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldnât be good for those with mobility issues.
Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didnât find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness.
